SC Competes / SC Tech 2025 at a glance:
We also celebrated a major milestone—20 years of SC Competes—with two powerful summits. Our Spring Summit marked the anniversary with three days of programming for our 370 attendees in Charleston and Mount Pleasant highlighting the battery ecosystem, advanced air mobility, and automation; while the Fall Summit in Greenville brought together more than 240 leaders to explore AI, business growth, and workforce innovation. AI served as a unifying theme across logistics, aerospace, critical technologies, and education, with insights from industry leaders and state leadership on how South Carolina can remain AI-ready and competitive.
Beyond the summits, 2025 included:
- SC Logistics + SC Tech Solutions Showcase: (8) SC tech companies shared smart, practical solutions for logistics, supply chain, and workforce challenges—and they delivered. The room was also packed (40+ attendees) with decision makers from across the logistics ecosystem, creating exactly the kind of conversations and connections that move our state forward.
- CAP Carolina webinars with 160+ registrations and 15+ speakers
- Logistics, Maritime, and Cybersecurity Mentorship Forums connecting 70+ students with 40+ mentors
- Continued growth of the Palmetto AI Corridor, including statewide AI roundtables and expanded AI education and workforce alignment
- Expansion of the SCAN Asset Map to showcase companies and emerging technologies across South Carolina
Looking ahead, the energy across our tech ecosystem is strong. We’re excited to build on this momentum in 2026—deepening partnerships, expanding collaboration, and continuing to connect the right people at the right time.
Thank you for being part of this journey. We can’t wait to see what we build together next. Here’s to a fantastic 2026 and beyond.
