SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – A new class teaching the ins and outs of Artificial Intelligence is also helping high school students find various careers in industries crucial to South Carolina’s economy.
“A lot of these companies are using AI and looking for people to come in as future employees to better understand the AI concept and flow of data to help their business prosper,” David Thornton, a teacher at Daniel Morgan School explained. “That’s what we’re trying to do in the classroom here, is have [the] future workforce of America be strong and stay ahead of technology.”
