South Carolina Council on Competitiveness to Host Spring 2020 SC Logistics TechTalk in Charleston


SC Logistics, an industry cluster initiative of the South Carolina Council on Competitiveness, will host the Spring 2020 Tech Talk event on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at the Thornley Campus of Trident Technical College located at  7000 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406. The program will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 1:00 p.m.

TechTalk is South Carolina’s only technology-focused logistics event and brings together thought leaders and decision-makers from transportation, distribution, and logistics companies from across the state and throughout the nation to discuss industry-changing technology.

The program will include presentations from logistics industry leaders from throughout the region and across the country.  There will be a lunchtime keynote address and Susie Shannon, President and CEO of the South Carolina Council on Competitiveness, will discuss the work that the South Carolina Council on Competitiveness does in industry clustering and collaboration for statewide growth and success.

SC Logistics

SC Logistics is a collaborative effort to strengthen our state’s economy, create jobs, attract investment and become a global leader in transportation, distribution and logistics. This effort is conducted through the SC Executive Forum, which consists of business leaders from the private sector and critically relevant state agencies, such as the SC Department of Commerce, the SC Department of Transportation and the SC Ports Authority.
